Do List for Nov. 20th
Nov. 20th 9am—1pm
Here is a list of projects we could try to put behind us on Sat.
I (Jerry)do plan to be there.
Call me about any jobs you want to do so I can run through your questions and discuss supplies.
v toilets that need new flushing parts--Joe B. will fix is this done?
v Men's toilet off kitchen leaks at base when flushed--may need new wax ring.
v outside gutters that need reinforcement--West side done
v East side due next workday, –talk to Mike Tho. And Mike Sch.Tim Jas
v carpet stains--need to fix our carpet cleaner machines, any volunteers?
v Take a look at Pastor Al's chair. Rocks in unbalanced way.
v cleaning furnace filters-need ladders—vacuum dirt off old ones
v Need about 3 extension ladders. 2 outside and 1 inside. Need to reach about 25 feet.
v setting up the downspouts--N.E corner Done! Thanks Mike Sch.
Let’s get more gutter/downspouts ready for winter—NW corner. Last one to do is the Northwest corner downspout.
v refill salt buckets for winter--Bought more bags of salt--need to set out buckets in Nov. bring more 5 gal. buckets--Done!!!!
v replace exit signs--On hold, ask Lyn L.
v dispose of old paint?-ask Nick N.
v caulk side walk --Caulked some on west side, will evaluate-see Mike Tho.Done!!!
v fill crack in front of church So side with sand -looked at it but no progress Could use a metal expansion joint. See Jerry W.
v class 5 for driveway--will order dirt another day—About 200.00 for dump truck—See Dale Se.
v north east side drain ditch—Big Project see Dale Se.
Put cap on Chimney ask Albert W.
Tar over any bad roof spots.
Close shut off valve on baptistery-see Jerry W.Done--!

Successful workday--Way to go guys and gals
We had quite a few workers on Saturday. Thanks for all your help. It is shaping up around here. Many hands make little work.

Chair set up and tear down list - two month schedule
Lets try to add more people to the chair schedule.
If we have a two month schedule we use twice as many people half as much.
Downside: Probably hard to remember to do it if you only do it once every eight weeks.
Remedy: Someone ( probably me, Jerry) will call and email the volunteers each week so they can be helped to remember.

March 20th, 2010 --- 9 am to 2 pm---Work Day -----Do List
March 20th, 2010 ---Church Work Day--- Do List----Look it over and bring tools to do the job. Bring your boys too.

We will rent the Lift to replace filters in the projectors in the sanctuary--Donnie P. will do that.
Also need to replace 4 furnace "Unit" filters in sanctuary---may retrofit to use a more common size. -Ask Mike T., Kevin A.or Jerry W.
Toilet ---women’s bathroom needs new “guts”-----check other Bathrooms --is this done?
Replace white cover plate in sanctuary by cross---ask Jerry W.
Replace bulbs in east entrance porch ceiling
Refill all salt buckets at all entrances—Ace hardware has more salt.
Top of chimney---see Jerry----make cap—install--talk to Albert W.
Molding in garage goes in fellowship hall----baseboard to go behind low black stage. See Brian H. Is there more to do than that?
Ace hardware—buy white switch plate---east side enrance single switch double plate- Menards did not have this------- Special order??
Does the van need to be vacuumed? Check it out
Set up chairs after we finish--Kelvin and Ron would like help Sat afternoon
Clean carpets—check out equipment---see Jerry
Anderson replacement window for Al’s office 340.00 do we want to do that?
