Nov. 21st, Sat Work Day--Success!!!!! Next workdays Jan. 9th and Feb. 13th

I want to especially acknowledge my gratefulness to the group that worked together with me. There was a very sweet spirit in the group and it was a pleasure working with all of you. This was a Nehemiah group who had a "heart to work." Thanks Nick, Terra and Andrea for the pizza too. Here we see Donny turning the lift around on the back forty. We had a full day of painting and bulb replacing. Thanks to all of you who helped. -------------Next work days are Jan 9th and Feb. 13th 2010.------- 9:00 am to 2:oo pm. on Saturdays.
Preparing the runway.
Another banked turn at high speed!
Go Donny, Go!!!
Mike and Jeff guiding the lift into the church.
Donny driving the lift in with the John Deere lawn tractor.
Wow, It fits!
The cross had a bulb out. Thanks Donny.
Before 9 :00 am Nick was preparing his paint.
Josiah taking down pictures etc. before painting.
Taping off base.
Nick in the background and Terra helping.
Andrea and Lyn in the hallway painting.
Talk about rising above mediocrity.
We had the time keeper to keep us on schedule. You can't see it but the whip is on the other side.
Donnie replacing light bulbs in projectors.
Nick quietly praying before his celestial rise to the heavens.
It's along way up here.
Nick painted in the sanctuary while we had the lift.
Padma worked soo hard painting in the sanctuary and hallway.
Setting up chairs after the lift was taken out.
Ryan cleaning up after a busy work day.
Capped and ready for winter.
Capped and ready for a long winter.
Does this tire look okay?
I still need to buy two more covers for the west side and one for the east. One here needs the base plate.
Does anyone know if this is working order?

Ralph B. says we need to overhaul this area with the bushes. I won't do anything without Ginny T. permission on this.
This is the boom from Princeton Rental. It cost 80.00 for 4 hrs. It should fit in the back double doors. We have to bring it through the two garage doors so it is in a straight line. It is 22 ft long.
Josiah's 8 pt. buck he just got on Sat. Nice going!!!!

Next work /paint day on Sat. Nov. 21st 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Check your schedule to see if you can come to the church and help. We want to finish the painting in the upstairs hallway. It was spackled two years ago and still needs to be painted. If we could call on the -------------------WOMEN OF PAINTH----------------------to bring this hallway to completion ---that would be great!!! We may need to come a few days early and make sure the spackle is sanded and ready to paint. Nick N. will be there to lend advice, support and two strong professional arms. Thanks Nick!!!!

These wire cages were built by Albert W. to protect lights etc, in the sanctuary. We hope to have a lift rented on Nov. 21st fix lights in sanctuary.
Tim A. says we need to spread class 5 along the driveway where it's cracking off to prevent it from getting worse. Anyone know who sells it for a good price?

This is in the kitchen and needs to be replaced. If you are driving by Menards here are the numbers. ---For two F-96 or F72/T72 slimline lamp. Line 1.45 amps 750 volts------ Cat No. 806-BR-TC-P. You can also enlarge the picture and read it. Buy two while your at it. Put the extra one in the boiler room.
This molding needs to be glued back on. Gorilla glue?

This is getting worse the more we ignore it. Vic B. and Jay D. have said they will work on these but it will take a while with only 3 of us. This is a BIG job and needs many hands. Let me know if you can help.
There is still work to do on the rain gutter/downspouts. The parts are in the garage. Basically we need to prevent water from going into the ground sewer pipes or they will freeze in the winter and bust our pipes. We will cap it and divert it to on top of the ground.
This needs to be fixed. It takes a square head driver to remove the base. Take it home and glue it back together. Anybody interested?
I replaced the clear protector cover for the top thermostat. Still need to replace the bottom one. I found it at Menards for $18.73. It is a Honeywell TG511. It was at the Elk River store.
We have some erosion. We need a plan and set a date to get a crew with Kevin's bobcat.
