You may have seen this cloth hanging down off of our sound boards. The 3m spray does a quick fix. We keep it in the garage.

Boiler infomercial

We need to have a" boiler meeting" with Tim A. and get the lowdown on this heat source. Let me know if you want to be included. A few of us should be privy to its operation.

Iron window design reattached

Saturday Mike T. and Jeffrey W. went to work to elliminate a potential hazard. The dodge balls-- ( I have heard it said that dodge ball is a religion--should I capitalize it?)--have been knocking the iron cross decoration loose because there is a slot in the iron where the screw goes in to it. Mike drilled a 3/16th hole next to the slot and-- wahla -- safety issue resolved. Thanks guys!

Here we see Ryan W. vacuuming the lady bugs out of the window sill. Thanks Ryan!

It took a couple of hours to do all four windows and it looks GREAT!

I noticed this mower in storage. Does it work? Do we use it? Bob S., do you know?---------Yes, Bob said it could go.--------- It is not self-propelled. Does it run?-------- Let's find out.

These trailer wires need to be improved on. Let's do this before someone uses it. Thanks.

We have an 8 foot and a 12 foot ladder we can use on our projects.
At the south facing entrance I see a hole in the cement/styrofoam. Jay D. and Jim H. and Jerry W. looked at it. We think some sand should be put in it and a threshhold should be glued or screwed down over the entire length---about 10 feet.
This is a diagram for the wheels on the partitions.

Inexperienced Driver---BEWARE

This 15 year old hooligan was seen driving. Stay out of his way--Please---for your own good!!!

Needs new crank

This is the sofa room/ overflow/couch room and it needs a new crank for the window. Check out the room upstairs where Rick H. had BRICK. That may need cranks too.----- ACE didn't have the right ones.----- This is our friendly ACE Hardware man, Mike L. He is willing to help us find what we need to fix up the church! Thanks Mike!

Striped gopher ----the hole.

Kevin A is trying to get rid of these gophers but they are smart. Got an idea?

Missing screws, --DONE---- NE double doors in main Sanctuary

DONE------- Thankyou Albert W. for doing this-----Because this door jam is removed often the screws have gone missing. The holes need to be re tapped and maybe a bolt with a handle on it would be more convenient. ----------Thumb bolt is in and DONE!

NE corner of main sanctuary above double doors--DONE!!!

DONE!!!!!!This emergency exit light has been hit and needs some TLC from a concerned bondslave of Christ. The ladder is in the garage and the screwdriver is in the boiler room.---------------------Jay to the rescue!!!!-------------------Thanks! ---Jay put it back together and bought 4 new lights--replaced the 2 in these and hid 2 in the fire extinguisher box just below it.---Thanks Jay!!

Outside carpet

The snow plow did a number on this carpet. Thankyou to whoever ripped up the loose carpet that was here. Give me a suggestion on the future of this project. Any ideas? Replace it? Remove the rest? Do nothing?

This could use a second look.

It appears to be rotting away--the wood timbers. If anyone wants to improve this let Jerry W. or Lynn L. talk to you about a plan or make a plan. Thanks.

Landscaping

Lynn has some ideas for this. If you like landscaping give her a call.

Landscaping

South side of church has some landscaping projects. Lynn L. knows about this and others. Give here a call if you have a green thumb and an interest in helping.

No more erosion --DONE!

Ray, Jerry, Mark and Ryan worked to replace the bent downspout. The PVC in the ground was broken because the water froze in it in the winter. Replaced 10' of it and put a double elbow to direct water to it. One elbow will be removed in the winter and a downspout piece will hook to it to keep water out of PVC pipe. Great effort Ray and the boys!

PVC pipe adaptor to fit gutter---DONE!

This is running right past the drain and eroding the soil away. ----Well it used too!---Nice job! Thanks Ray G.!

Sign suggestions?

Anyone good at making signs? Lyn L. should have some guidelines you can go by.

Old Banner above drinking fountain

I have been told this banner can come down. Lyn L., could you comment on this?

Faucet on west side

This faucet is all chewed up and doesn't look like it could receive a handle. There is one 20 feet away that we could use and just shut this one off. The turn off valve is in the boiler room. --Update----We may replace the guts on this one---we have to turn the water off though.

Bad Hair Day

This guy needs his hairdresser to tell him the truth! Doug P. what were you thinking?!

Hoop and post in back

Should we put this to use? Any comment from Chad E. or Chad P. from the basketball lovers? New location or garage sale?

White siding and snow fence

Do we want to use this snow fence? Did we used to use it? How about the Sheet metal siding? Leave a comment.

Basketball hoop at east entrance

Brian H. asked if we use this? Do we want to move it, paint it or anything?

DONE!!!!!Bent and loose---no, straightened---YES!---- threshold at NE corner of main sanctuary

These aluminum door plates are bent and loose. My guess is that the Lift used to reach the ceiling put the weight on these that bent them. If they were fixed, raised a bit with cement under them would the Lift still be able to drive in the doorway?------------Progress!!!! Albert W. has straightened them in his press.-------- Stay tuned for the update!-------Done!--Thanks Albert W. They look great! While Al was at the doors he fixed a few other things that were broken on the door! Go Al Go!

Decorative iron in windows--DONE-- Sat. the 25th--

DONE----Thanks Mike T., Jeffrey W. and Ryan W. LOOKS GOOD!!!!!!!!!------------These keep coming loose and may fall down out of the windows. The problem seems to be that the iron is slotted and allows the screws to come out and away. They should have holes instead of slots. We could just add a drill hole in each foot pad. There are four and that is sixteen holes to drill. Maybe on a work day someone could make a plan, bring the tools (3/16 drill and drill motor) and bring closure to this hazard. We have a ladder in the garage.
